Academic Support and Guidance: Participants receive comprehensive academic coaching, course planning, and tutorial services
Student Success Seminars: Success seminars are informative sessions that enhance students’ capacity for learning and foster academic, personal, and professional success. Workshops topics include: computer basics, managing math anxiety, learning styles, GRE preparation, FAFSA completion, loan eligibility limits, satisfactory academic progress, class attendance, wellness, and much more.
Career Development: Students receive guidance in career exploration and the opportunity to network with career professionals during career workshops and graduate school fairs. Scholarships: Each year, the ONES program awards grant aid scholarships to help eligible program participants with education related expenses.
Math Enhancement Sessions: Students work in small groups and one-on-one with Math professors, session leaders, and tutors to succeed in math classes such as FDLS 115 and Math 120.
Print and Copy Services: Students involved with the ONES program may print and copy academic materials free of charge.
Laptop and Calculator Loan Program: Laptops and TI 83/84 graphing calculators are available to checkout through the ONES office.
